Construction & Home Services Technician

We are looking for motivated and reliable Construction & Home Services Technicians to join our growing team in Ontario. This is a practical, field-based position involving residential and commercial service, installation, repair and maintenance work. We are looking for people with good practical skills, mechanical ability, reliability and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities Depending on experience and training, duties may include: Assisting with residential and commercial service calls Installation and repair of doors and windows Garage door installation and repair Locksmith and lock-related services Basic maintenance and repair Measuring, preparing and installing materials Using hand and power tools Troubleshooting basic mechanical and installation problems Travelling to customer locations Communicating professionally with customers Maintaining a clean and safe work environment Learning additional technical skills through on-the-job training The position may involve different types of home-service work depending on customer requirements and the employee's skills. Requirements Previous construction, installation, maintenance, mechanical or repair experience is an asset Good practical and mechanical skills Comfortable using hand and power tools Comfortable working in different residential and commercial environments Physically capable of performing field work Reliable and responsible Willing to learn new skills Valid driver's licence Ability to travel to customer locations French – mandatory Working English – required Compensation & Career Growth Employees who develop strong technical, customer-service and sales skills may have opportunities to progress into senior technician, field supervisor, technical sales or service management roles.
