Tooling Design Engineer

Tooling Design Engineer Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Tooling Design Engineer to support our aerospace projects remotely fromTunisia while working closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams in Türkiye. The selected candidatewill be responsible for the design of molds, sheet metal forming tools, trimming tools, and manufacturing toolingused in aerospace production processes. Key Responsibilities• Design aerospace tooling solutions for composite and metallic part manufacturing• Develop molds, sheet metal forming tools, trimming fixtures, curing tools, and machining fixtures• Prepare 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings• Optimize tooling designs considering manufacturability, dimensional stability, and production efficiency• Coordinate closely with manufacturing and engineering teams during design and production phases• Support tooling improvements and design revisions• Ensure designs comply with technical and customer requirements• Participate in technical meetings and remote project coordination activitiesRequired Qualifications• Strong knowledge of CATIA• Minimum 5 years of tooling or mold design experience• Experience in aerospace tooling and mold design is highly preferred• Experience designing tools such as composite molds, aluminum sheet metal forming tools, trimming fixtures,cure tools, bonding molds, vacuum fixtures, and machining fixtures• Good understanding of composite manufacturing processes and aluminum sheet metal forming processes• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances• Good command of English• Strong communication and teamwork skills• Ability to work efficiently in a remote and international environment• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications• Aerospace industry experience• Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes, tooling materials, and aluminum sheet metal formingmethods• Experience working closely with manufacturing teams• Experience in international engineering projects• Familiarity with aerospace quality and manufacturing standards
