Accounting Technician – French Market

VBMS Tunisie, an accounting and technology services center based in Centre Urbain Nord, Tunis, is hiring an accounting technician for its French market team. You will handle the bookkeeping for a portfolio of French clients (self-employed individuals and companies), from data entry through to preparation of the financial statements, entirely using Pennylane. Your work is reviewed and signed by a chartered accountant registered with the Order: you are responsible for quality and deadlines, not the final signature. Responsibilities Maintain the accounts for a portfolio of French client files: data entry, bank reconciliation, VAT Prepare tax and social security returns on time Contribute to the preparation of the financial statements and tax return package Follow up with clients for missing supporting documents, in coordination with the onboarding team Flag any discrepancies or issues requiring a decision to the chartered accountant Contribute to the continuous improvement of production procedures Urgent hiring – permanent contract – Tunis (Centre Urbain Nord), on-site.
